take the last n characters of any attribute

Hello

is there any posibility to take the last n characters of an attribute?

Here is what I am trying to do: I want to change the logon script paths of many users from
my\short\path\script.cmd to your\very\long\path\script.cmd
so it would be great to cut the last 16 chars from the end ("\path\script.cmd") and add "your\very\long" in front of the attribute.

I know how to get the first character of an attribute:
Syntax for taking the first character of an attribute: %1'givenName'%

Is there something similar for the last n characters?

Many thanks for any help

I have the same question. The company decided to change the format of phone numbers from xxx-xxx-xxxx to (xxx) xxx-xxxx.

Grabbing the area code is no problem: (%3'telephoneNumber'%)

The problem is getting the last 8 characters, i.e. xxx-xxxx to go after that. Any ideas?
